It's sad to see people choosing to live in debt out of a need to live a certain lifestyle. Many of my colleagues are like that and it's not like they can't afford to live within their means... They feel the need to live beyond their means to show off a particular successful image of themselves. I'm no financial planner but at the end of the day behaviour like that is on you and not very wise when you're not accumulating any wealth.

I agree with your sentiment. As far a accumulating wealth its bit fucking hard when Gov does not get on top of cost of living all they have to do is flood the market with more food power land not rocket science. Other than the damage  COVID lock downs and recent flooding events there is no justification in this country for the cost of living increases.
