Celebrate PP's 10th Birthday With Cash Prizes!!!

Post a Review and enter a draw for winning $100 (5 prizes to be awarded monthly for the rest of 2020).

Conditions apply! (Please read at the bottom of this post).

To celebrate Punter Planet's 10th birthday this 21st August, we have thought of a virtual way to balance the CV doom and gloom until the end of the year.

From July up to December included, we'll be drawing 5 prizes of $100 in cash each, for those who post a qualifying review during this period (plus the ones already posted during April, May and June).

We'll endevour to get together to celebrate our birthday in Melbourne some time during the year, when things get better. However, since we cannot do that at the moment, we've thought of this joyful way of spreading some happiness across our reviewers. It's also a bit of our own Marshall Plan to inject some money back into the punting economy.

Our treasurer Josh iRobot, has done all the sums and calculations, and we have come with 5 prizes of AUD $100 each every remaining month of 2020. $100 may not seem like a lot in punting terms, but it may cover some R'N'T or 30 minute session at some parlours, or simply contribute to your total expenses if indulging at a higher level. When you think in non-punting terms, $100 goes even a longer way. Hence, why the prizes will be in cash, and you can do whatever you like with that money (after all, you must have spent some dosh before posting a review).

Now, the prizes will be delivered exclusively via bank transfer (and please note the name Punter Planet will show in statements) or via the Beem It app, which is better, as in that case it won't show. We could consider some other alternatives but that will be in a one on one basis and not guaranteed. So, if you have a debit card linked to any Australian bank account, download and activate the Beem It app now.

At the end of every month we'll get together with some members for the draw of the names out of a hat. Maybe in July, that will be done just with iRobot and me, as things are a bit tough in Melbourne for another six weeks. The winners' names will be published that same night or the following day.

To enter, post a qualifying review or more (as the more reviews you enter, the more chances you'll have. You may even win more than one prize if Lady Luck is on your side).

In recognition to your great job at the peak of the CV restrictions, in July will also include all eligible entries posted in April, May and June. From August to December, only those entries posted each month will take part.

Now, what is a qualifying entry?

For the purpose of these draws alone, a qualifying review:

    - Cannot be older than 3 months at the time of being posted.

    - Must include some form of published contact details (phone, link to ad or website, etc. For cryptic R'N'T reviews, please see next point)

    - Must include the name of the service provider (Establishment's name and girl's name. For cryptic R'N'T reviews, you'll need to be able to provide us names and contact details even if you don't disclose them in public)

    - Must follow our guidelines on how to post a review and be informative.

    - Only reviews posted in all-members areas (sign-in required when not about advertisers) are eligible.

    - Webcam reviews are not eligible.

There are 2 other requisites needed for a review to be eligible for Star Master's status, that we won't apply here for the draw. One is that each of the 5 qualifying reviews to become a SM must be about a different girl (if about privates) or a maximum 3 are accepted about a same business (if about a brothel/agency). The other is that for SM eligibility reviews need to be exclusive to PP (or reworked for PP in such a way that we get the bigger/better version of it).

None of these 2 conditions will apply for the draws, but if you are not a Star Master yet, it's in your best interest to comply with these two rules too, so the reviews are also eligible for Star Master's status, apart from participating in the draw. Needless to say, if not exclusive, and the review is posted elsewhere too, you'll need to prove you are the same person to us.

So, keep those reviews coming! Get posting now. :)

Let's make the best out of the remaining of 2020. Cheers!

"Cannot be older than 3 months at the time of being posted."

Far be it from me to tell you how to run your website, @AndyJ... but this stupid pandemic has been going for longer than three months, and there are plenty of us who haven't punted since shit started getting real (myself included).  Asian shops seemed way too risky in March, you wouldn't know what a fresh-off-the-plane Chinese WL brought back with her.

Incentivising posting reviews is one thing, but incentivising punting during a pandemic is another - especially where the legal brothels, massage establishments etc are all still under mandatory shutdown in a lot of areas and will probably remain so indefinitely. 😭

Personally I've got terminal blue balls and there's not a god-damned thing I can do about it.  Even if I went private (which I've had shitty luck with in the last year) I could still end up catching the rona.

Bear in mind that this came to mind when Melbourne's situation was on the way out, there many Victorian reviews posted that are eligible, and since even those posted in March count, that means that they could be of punts taken place in December onwards. Then the rest of the country is in a better condition too. It's not the idea to encourage punting during the newly imposed lockdown if you live (like I do) in these areas, but crossing fingers things will get better. Everyone knows my position about this topic since day one, that is, if you are in a risk group, due to age or pre-existing conditions lock yourself at home and don't punt. The draws will continue until December, so Melbourne guys will have time to participate, even if they need to take a break now.

Edit: Eligible reviews are those posted from April onwards, so that means punts could have taken place from January onwards (Not December as I wrote above). The reasoning remains the same though.

While I understand it is not your position or intent to advocate punting during a lock down, there are enough clowns who will justify (in their own minds at least) using your offer as an excuse to punt.

One option might be to simply state that you will exercise some flexibility in applying the eligibility criteria to allow for the pandemic.  You don't need to be too specific on that.  For example, you might elect - whether you state it or not - to extend the eligibility criterion to three months before any current lockdown for affected punters and SWs  (given that either or both may be in an area with a declared lock down).

You might also wish to explicitly discourage punting during a lockdown - for example, if you reasonably consider that the review is about a booking that occurred in breach of a declared lockdown, you might deem it ineligible.

I realize you can't stop people punting during a lock down.   But it is a better to avoid any perception of nudge-nudge-wink-wink toward it, which I believe is Nibblet's concern.

No, there's no nudge-nudge-wink-wink. We are adults, and I treat our members as such. I wish the government would treat us as adults, but they don't. So, I simply assume that if you are in a risk group or are in contact with people in a risk group (who shouldn't be in contact with you to start with), you won't punt. I'm sorry for Melbourne punters who won't have exactly the same chances than the rest of the country (that is, if places in the rest of the country keep in better shape), but I'm making this go for long enough to allow everyone to have a chance sooner or later. Even if Melbourne punters were to stop punting for 3 months now, there are plenty of reviews already posted that will participate, and crossing fingers Melbourne will still be the place where we'll have some celebration this year (if we get to have one at all).

PS, there is one thing though that I've been thinking of doing to balance things out a bit. Originally I said that the first draw was going to have the reviews posted in April, May, June (plus July). I think it will be better for the first draw to be July plus April, the second one August plus May and the third one September plus June (and after that each month alone up to the end of year). It doesn't change things much, but it balances chances a bit more.

Well, maybe not brothels, but privates and massage places will operate for sure at some stage this year.

Privates will largely do as they please, but some of the less "independent" privates (to put it in neutral terms) have had their premises raided by the cops recently and the workers and clients charged.

Massage places are shut down by government edict and I suspect that's going to continue more or less indefinitely.  Even during the brief period between lockdowns where massage places were allowed to reopen, they were required to record the names and phone numbers of clients for contact-tracing purposes.  I can't see any R&T places doing that, so even if they're allowed to reopen they'll still be operating unlawfully and I suspect the cops will also be enforcing those restrictions.

There's so little rooting going on in Victoria at the moment that the number of cases of chlamydia for the year to date are more than 90% lower than the same period in each of the last three years.  Cases of ghonnorea are down around 20%, HIV is down about two thirds and syphilis is down by nearly half on last year.

There are no statistics available on the number of cases of blue balls (because it's not a notifiable disease) but anecdotal evidence from a small group study (n = 1) indicates it is ubiquitous, and the natives are restless.

EDIT: I've created a quick poll in my PP blog on whether people are still punting and if not, why not.  Stick your two cents in.

I'd like to commend Andy on his initiative. I think you being a bit precious @ElephantBoy  I'm willing to bet I'm older than you and I am in a susceptible age group. But I socially distance. If you are scared, don't punt, it's as simple as that but don't try dictating to others who assess the low level risks. It sounds like you are jealous of those who are punting.

I'm not scared of COVID-19.    If I was to be infected, I'd be more concerned about the potential of infecting someone else, than I would about myself.        In comparison, you are apparently not interested in the risk that you might pose to others.

I expressed a viewpoint - following on from someone else's comments - for consideration.      AndyJ responded as he did, and I left it at that.

You don't have to agree.    There's a lot of evidence that outbreaks are associated with people being over-confident in their ability to control the risk they pose to themselves and others.

@ElephantBoy I'm sorry if you have to stick to Pornhub unlike myself. I'm seeing my beautiful regular who is not working due to the coronavirus, so is only seeing me. As I said, I'm in an age group that is susceptible to unfavourable outcomes, but I focus on social distancing but am not paranoid as you seem to be. By all means don't punt but don't be jealous of punters who might consider the risk to be small.

Guys, please leave this topic for what it is. It's not meant to be a discussion thread but an announcement from PP, that even non registered guests can see. In the following days we'll announce the first 5 winners (for July and April). Cheers.

AND THE FIRST LUCKY DRAW WINNERS ARE:

    Matty67

    Surfer1989

    Dvient

    Bowler71

    Choco

    CONGRATULATIONS!!!

They are the winners of the first draw among all those who posted one or more qualifying reviews in April and July 2020 (Next one will be for those posted in May and August, then June and September, and from October it will be each month alone until the end of the year).

Each of these gents has won AUD $100, and I will be in touch with them soon to organise a transfer method. (I suggest to download the Beem It app, if you have a debit card issued by any Australian bank. It is by far the best method).

Thank you everyone whose reviews participated. Unfortunately there can be only 5 winners, but maybe next month is your turn. In any case this is just a little "thank-you" incentive but the real incentive is to keep Punter Planet as a useful source of punting intel during this time of doom and gloom but particularly for years to come. :)

Not having a go at your opinion, but can $100 really be used as justification to punt in locations where they shouldn't?

Anyway, congrats to those five who won.

Do hope Victorians can join back into the civilised world soon.
