Rain - Sep 09 - Las Vegas, Nevada

Leaving Las Vegas is one of my favourite movies. It is about two lives which cross paths; two people who really need each other, they just don't know it yet.

Nicolas Cage's character, Ben, comes to Vegas to escape his life. Mainly through alcohol. Elisabeth Shue plays a prostitute struggling to pay the rent, dealing with an abusive pimp. Their meeting changes their lives.

It is a love story. A tragic one.

I have been to Vegas several times now and like Ben's and Sera's story, Vegas is full of contradictions. Insane highs and lows, pleasure and heartache, glitz and grubbiness. All happily coexisting. People are friendly and talkative, yet beneath lies a hollowness and above all an intense desire for self-preservation.

Because you can't let your guard down here. Not for a moment.

The main Vegas Strip is flanked by the glamorous casinos with names like the Luxor, Wynn, Trump, The Venetian, Bellagio…..

Not far away is Downtown and 'Old Vegas' which you used to see in the movies of the 70s, with casinos like The Golden Nugget, Fitzgerald's and Binions. A stark contrast with the main Strip. These casinos have lost their glamour and are now flanked by seedy strip bars, wedding chapels and tacky souvenir shops. This is where the pimps and streetwalkers ply their trade.

This is where Ben met Sera and also where I met Rain.

I drove along Fremont St, the heart of Old Vegas when I saw a black girl with braided hair putting a book away into her bag. She was stunningly beautiful. She was smiling to herself; smiling about something. She then began to walk along the street, a smiling lonely beautiful black girl.

I pulled over and she smiled at me.

'Jump in,' I said

'Are you sure?'

'Sure.'

She settled into the passenger seat and immediately a cop car pulled up next to us. She kept smiling. I was not so confident. The penalty for picking up a street prostitute in Nevada is up to 6 months imprisonment.

'It's ok.' she said. 'Just drive.'

I drove.

And drove.

For some reason the cop car did not follow.

This was the beginning of our tragic love story.

We drove towards my hotel.

'What is your name,' I asked.

'Rain'

'Nice name. It suits you.'

She laughed.

'You mean Rayne, as in R-A-Y-N-E?'

'No, R-A-I-N. But that is my stage name. That is the role I'm playing.'

We both thought about that a while.

'My real name is Aneisha. And I am glad to meet you.'

She took my hand as we drove.

'It's lucky that cop car didn't pull us over,' she said. 'I have just been in jail for 5 days. I've been 86'ed from nearly every casino on the Strip.'

'86'ed?'

'Yeah. It means if I'm caught soliciting in any casino they can take me in. They warned me. And I got caught. At Planet Hollywood.'

'Ahh.'

And so we drove with this smiling bubbly black girl confiding in me and holding my hand.

In the movie, Ben and Sera found something which had been missing from their lives. Even they didn't know exactly what it was. But above all it was companionship and the touch of another human being.

Rain and I explored each other's bodies. Slowly; through gentle touches and caresses. The body is a road map which tells our story. I told her mine and she told me hers. There was a place where her pimp had tried to give her a home made tattoo, which was now a faded outline in blue ink. She had another tattoo of several stars, and she told me how she was planning to make a trail of stars over her shoulder and meeting up across her belly.

Suddenly she got up and sat at my laptop.

'This is my family,' she went to her MySpace page.

'This is my mum. This is my son. He is back in California. This is me when I was still at school.'

She told me some more of her story. She was very beautiful, sitting naked in my hotel room, typing on my laptop, showing me pictures of her family.

Soon we started hugging and getting to know each other again, in a different way. She told me she loved DATY and would I mind going down on her. I was happy to oblige of course and lightly kissed the inside of her thighs, then her wet pussy. I love how a black girl's pussy is so pink on the inside and I licked and fingered her while her feet rested on my shoulders.

I lost track of how long this went on for though I would say close to half an hour. She then went down for some CBJ which was very vigorous with lots of pressure and felt incredible.

I had previously asked her about kissing and she told me that this was one thing she did not do. No problem. We went through the porno menu on my TV and couldn't decide between two. I told her that we'd go with her choice but if it was no good, she had to kiss me properly.

'Deal!' she laughed.

As the porno began she jumped on top of me and I slid straight into her very wet pussy. She moved up and down intensely as her moans mingled with the moans in the porno. I felt around and grabbed her butt….she was very slim and I could feel her asshole, coated with her pussy juice as she rode me.

We tried missionary and doggy with me standing alongside the bed. I could only describe it as a very passionate and vigorous session. Two lives. Two stories. Here in the city of Sin. Looking for something.

My favourite line is Leaving Las Vegas is when Sera gives Ben a hip flask for his birthday, although he is dying from alcoholism.

'Now I know I am with the right girl,' he says.

Well I knew that I had picked the right girl.

This act is the tragedy in her life. And you could say that punting is the tragedy in mine. But through that came a moment of hope and tenderness and beauty. And an Oscar-winning performance.

Excellent review, I have dreamed about a black US girl. How much did she set you back? If you don't mind me asking. I have been to Vegas on a number of occasions but no opportunities to punt.
