I'm sorry you're having such a frustrating time.  I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing but surely having so many no-shows in such a short period of time can't be a coincidence - there must be an escort or agency somewhere that is trying to screw you around.  Have you just left a parlour or agency?  I'm sure you're already thinking about anyone in your recent past that might be doing this.

 

If you're only new as a private you might re-brand and get a new contact number but of course that's a lot of work and would lose any good reputation you've previously built in your 'brand'.

 

There must be some way for escorts to discreetly receive payment of deposits from new clients.  Something like PayPal maybe?  Something that doesn't identify clients and won't show up on their bank statement.

 

Naming & shaming to other escorts is fine but if you name & shame publicly (on twitter or something) you almost certainly will scare off potential clients, which will hurt your business more than it will hurt them.

 

I hope things get better.  Not all punters are bad.

Hi Jerri, can you give me some comparison for this no show rate. That is, in an average month what percentage of bookings are no shows, late or in other ways problematic.

 

Also we're all these no shows first timers and what percentage of your business is first timers ?

 

I never go private but most of my parlour visits are phone bookings. On the odd ocassion I have to cancel or postpone I always ring. It's good form and I like to treat my regulars properly.

 

Name and shame at your financial peril.

Maybe you could try a couple of weeks where you only accept bookings that are accompanied with a deposit. If i am keen i have no problem paying a deposit, even if it's visiting a new girl, so long as she has been around a while and/or i can check her reviews then i'll take the risk.

And DO NOT use paypal as a payment option, adult services are against their policies and they do take accounts used for such.

From what I have heard, it may also pay to see what touring girls are in town at that time. I hear there are a few who arrange false bookings (not saying that is the case for you,) but sometimes pays to think outside the square!

That's terrible. I wonder if it's an end of year thing with all the schoolkids on holidays and up to no good?

I cant cry about it though I wish some times I could. I dont have a forum to go that will give me the support and help that you have been given.

Face it times are tuff for a lot of people when it comes to money so just grin and bare it. If you are providing a good service for a good price you have a lot better chance of  than me.

Sorry to hear that, I do agree with Charlie that naming and shaming will not be a good strategy, do you take your bookings over the phone or a text message, if they talk to you, you will have a better chance to see if they sound genuine, if you are going to an outcall, always ask them what name they have booked under and call the hotel reception asking to speak to Mr such and such in room such and such, if they answer and it's the right guy he will be there when you arrive.
