I was clearing out a lot of stuff at home this morning when I came upon an old newspaper clipping.

It was a cartoon of Santa, Cupid and Easter Bunny in a pub.

 

Santa: "My life is in the hands of flying livestock."

 

Cupid: "At least you don't have to flit around half-naked in the middle of February."

 

Easter Bunny: "Try laying a colored egg sometime."

 

While the holiday season for many people is a time to enjoy and indulge, it is only possible through the hard work of those toiling away behind the scenes. Being a holiday spirit, I imagine, must be at times as thankless a job as being a janitor or delivery guy.

So I quite like the image of Santa, Cupid and Easter Bunny commiserating over a few drinks just like your average working stiffs.
